Although affiliated to the national RSPCA, the home does not receive financial support from them for our daily running costs. We are not eligible for Lottery or Government funding so therefore the support of the community is vital to the survival of the Home and the continuance of its work. We rely heavily upon the generosity of individuals, companies and groups to enable us to provide the care and support needed for unwanted local animals. Our running costs are in excess of £3,000 per day and are met through donations, sponsorships, charitable trusts, fundraising events and legacies.

I am running the Bath Half marathon in 2013 in aid of BCDH.
