Story

Between 10 - 12 September 2009, 12 Balfour Beatty Capital riders completed the 145 mile Coast 2 Coast cycle route from Whitehaven on the Cumbrian coast to Tynemouth on the East. This was a very challenging ride, crossing through the North Lake District and Pennines, with some significant climbs over Whinlatter Pass and up and over Hartside. The riders were blessed with perfect weather - blues skies, warm air and little wind, which just added to the spectacular scenery they passed through.

Many thanks to all those that have donated and there is still time to donate to help us reach our target.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Balfour Beatty Charitable Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you!
