Sport Wales staff are planning to cycle from the most Westerly tip of South West Wales to the most Easterly point on the border to raise money for the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre at Glan Clwyd Hospital in Denbighshire.

We'll be pedalling out on this epic 220 mile journey on Friday 17 September, battling the elements and the famously hilly Welsh countryside, over three days of exertion before limping over the finish line to grab ourselves a well padded cushion and a rest!

There is a very good motivating reason for this madcap adventure.

The fantastic staff at the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre went the extra mile to support our colleague Neil and his family when they needed it most. So we’re going the extra mile for them and will donate all funds to the centre to ensure that their excellent work can continue and benefit other families in North Wales.
