Miss Commonwealth and her culture & charity ambassadors are strongly committed to charity fundraising, among their other charitable activities, year-round. They proudly fundraise for the common good, following in the footsteps of their predecessors who helped raise over £4Million in the 24 months to December 2006 for charities around the world. All fundraisers are honoured by the award of certificates.

Gemma and Jayne are mother and daughter who have each competed in beauty pageants and love doing charity work. Jayne won Mrs Commonwealth uk in 2009 and then went onto win the International final later that year. In 2010 Gemma decided to follow in her mothers footsteps and entered the Miss Commonwealth UK and won the title where she was crouned by her mum. The Commonwealth Triple Crown pageant will be held on the 30th October this year where Gemma will represent the UK and be in with a chance to be crowned the international winner. As part of The Commonwealth pageant both Gemma and Jayne are dedicated to raising funds for their chosen charity which is Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital.
