Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those of you who know me from the pre-baby days will remember that I was a keen runner and supporter of Guide Dogs for the Blind.

After a gap of nearly three years, I've decided it's time to put my feet into gear and get back out there raising money for this amazing charity.

Guide Dogs receives no funding from the government but the team work tirelessly to improve the lives of so many people.  And the dogs (unlike my lazy pair!) selflessly work to help people do some of the things that most of us take for granted.

My lovely Grandma was a keen supporter of the charity and whenever I run for Guide Dogs, I also do so for her memory and for Elsa - our lovely guide dog reject that bought so much love to our family when we adopted her many years ago.

Please give generously because I'm running for this great charity.  And if you see me proferring cake at work or in other places, how about a small donation to this page by way of a thank you? xx

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
