We did it!   

A hard slog in the wind and rain, but we got round the 10km course in 1hr 16mins.........  And we've exceeded our target of £1,000.  Thanks to everyone who has supported us and donated so generously, and for those of you who are still logging on and giving now!

Sophie was the inspiration for us doing this run and her wonderful parents have set up their own website www.thesophiestory.co.uk to help raise awareness of her condition.  Please take a look.

We are raising money for CHASE Hospice Care for Children, which is a charity very close to both our hearts, especially because of the help, support and care they showed for Sophie, Becky’s niece, for the 6 weeks she was in care there.

Very sadly, Sophie has a progressive illness, and even though she is now at home, CHASE continues to support Sophie through their Community Team, who support families in their own homes and communities. 

Sophie will continue to visit CHASE and use their facilities, which are invaluable. Without CHASE, Sophie may still be in hospital in London many miles away from her home, which would have made life so much more difficult.
