I am running the The 2010 Ignis Asset Management Women's 10K on Sunday 9 May to raise funds for CLIC Sargent.

CLIC Sargent is a great charity which gave much needed help to some of our close friends when their daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia last year. The charity has one simple aim: to ease the burden of childhood cancer on children, young people and their families. If I can contribute to easing the burden for just 1 family by putting myself through the misery of a 10k slog then it will be more than worth the effort!

By taking a couple minutes of your time to donate a few pounds to this really worthy cause, it will make all the hours of sweat and pain I'm experiencing worth while!
