I can't believe I'm only £650 off my target. It's been pretty hard going considering the current climate but it's been well worth it to achieve the amount raised so far.

I have been extremely busy over the last few months baking muffins and cookies for my cake sales at work which I have tried to hold on most Fridays.

Suppliers from work have also been generous with donations of money and gifts for raffles. I was overwhelmed by a cheque from one supplier for £1,000 which certainly helped to boost the target marker!! Another supplier donated an IPod Nano which proved extremely popular when put up for grabs in one of my raffles.

I have another raffle and tombola coming up shortly.

Also I would like to say a huge thank you to those of you who have already donated. I know some of you keep popping on the site to see how I'm doing.

I have started training too. I'm going with a group of work colleagues to the Lakes on the 6th June for a weekend of fell walking. This should be good practice for when I take to the Wall.
