Fundraising for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK
Story
Tala and I have decided to enter the London Marathon to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in memory of my nephew and godson Alex.
Make-A-Wish enables terminally ill children and their families to have once in a lifetime wishes fulfilled. The organisation took Alex and his family to EuroDisney and Lapland to meet Father Christmas.
Both trips were simply fantastic and will be remembered by Alex's family for years to come.
Alex suffered from a genetic disorder and died last April but we are anxious that other terminally ill children and their families will have the same opportunity as Alex and his family.
Having vowed never to do the marathon again, seeing the impact that Make-A-Wish and the Children's Hospice South West had on my family's lives, Tala and I wanted to do something to raise additional funds. Between us we hope to raise at least £4000 and we are hoping that you will be as generous as possible.
