We run free life-changing activity camps to help children living with severe illness

Story

Some friends and I have entered into the Kilworth Challenge which can be described as a trek/assault course/the crystal maze, ( http://www.kilworthchallenge.co.uk/ ). The competition runs over two days where 36 teams take part with points awarded per challenge. Loads of points are given to the team with the highest sponsorship (HINT). Its held in up Leicestershire where its popularity is growing fast. Many teams were turned down this year so we're priveledged to have a place and the opportunity to raise money for their chosen charities.

Our team has set a £6000 target which we've split four ways to raise. All donations will be gratefully recieved. I've cut'n'paste the Over the Walls introduction below explaining their good work.

Cheers

Ben

Each year Over The Wall welcomes children affected by serious illnesses to our unique residential camps. Many have endured isolation and lack of childhood experiences.

At Over The Wall camps we help children overcome the isolation they feel during the rest of the year and have fun & forge friendships with other seriously ill children "just like them". These campers range in age from 8 .

These weeklong sessions also provide a much needed break for parents knowing that our camps are staffed by highly trained volunteers and a dedicated medical team

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Over The Wall Gang Camp will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
