Story

Hi everyone,

As most of you will know, in January I was due to to take part in a cycle ride around part of Cuba to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Unfortunately, as you'll probably also know, I was pretty unwell for quite a while during the autumn and therefore wasn't able to do the bike ride in January, which I was pretty gutted about. Anyway I'm now booked on another ride - same country, same distance (just over 300km in 7 days) - which starts on April 4th...and that means I'm on the search for sponsors again!

The reason I chose to fundraise for the Alzheimer's Society was that a family friend had the disease and so I know just what an awful illness it is and how difficult it is to live with. The Alzheimer's Society is also a relatively small charity compared to some and so they really do rely on donations and people mad enough to do challenges like this!

Training is well under way and I want to raise as much as possible for the charity - my target is £2800. All donations are really appreciated and no amount is too little (or too large!).

Thanks a lot!
