Story
Well the time has come to finally race The London Marathon on 26th April 2009. Whilst I've qualified for a place based on a previous race, I have decided to raise money for Epilepsy Action.
As you will know our 18 month old son George, was diagnosed with Epilepsy last year. What Nicola and I have learnt over the past 6 months is just how poorly understood this condition is and the need for continued research into cause and treatment. Whilst we still have many questions that need answers, we have gained a great deal of knolwedge from the charity Epilepsy Action.
Epilepsy Action is the largest member-led epilepsy organisation in Britain, acting as the voice for the UK's estimated 456,000 people with epilepsy, as well as their friends, families, carers, health professionals and the many other people on whose lives the condition has an impact.
I'd appreciate any donation that you can make to this worthy cause and will in return to quote Nicola "Run Forest, run......"
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Epilepsy Action gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Many thanks
Ben
