True, I signed up for this years Virgin London Marathon on a whim expecting at best to get shortlisted for 2011!  

A call from Oxfam just a couple of hours later to offer me a much sought-after spot was a slight shock to say the least.

However, I have had a burning desire for many years to get involved with this event and am thrilled that I can now take part whilst raising £2000 for Oxfam.

You can be sure that I will be putting in some serious effort on the day and even more so in the weeks leading up to it and your support will be a fantastic boost!  Through JustGiving is the most efficient way of going about it, also ensuring that 28% in Gift Aid is added to your donation.
