I'm doing the Great North Run to raise money for the lovely worthy charity Shelter on the 19th (its so soon, aaahh).  If you sponsor me you will be helping the homeless become unhomeless and that's like REALLY nice of you.  Whats more, i appreciate even the smallest donation...each one helps me to keep running when the finish line starts to seem too far off...

Shelter tackles the root causes of bad housing by lobbying government and local authorities for new laws and policies, and more investment, to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people.  They managed to get loads improved, recently securing a governmental promise that in Scotland by 2012, every homeless person will have the right to a home.

There is a massive gulf between the housing haves and have-nots and as housing is now the key factor determining a person's health, wellbeing, and prospects in life, its really important to reduce this as much as poss.

Its a brilliant cause and every little donation helps!!!
