Story

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On September 20th, 13 Sixth Formers and 5 Staff from Blessed George Napier School are running the Great North Run. We are running for CAFOD, a fantastic organisation that does so much for sustainable development overseas. In a moment of summer madness, we decided it would be a good idea to "break the chains of poverty" by getting a group of us to raise as much cash as possible ... by running joined together!

To remind us that running a HALF MARATHON with 52,000 other people was a good idea, we would all be eternally grateful if you could support us by donating using this site!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the CAFOD and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - we have a lot of fundraising to do!

About the charity

CAFOD works with local partners and communities across the world - responding to emergencies, promoting long-term development and raising public awareness of the causes of poverty. We work with people of all faiths and none for a safe, sustainable and peaceful world.
