We support disadvantaged 11-30 year olds to get their lives on track.
Story
Call them mad, call them crazy but the bgroup’s Emily, Jo, Si and Ciara have decided to give something back to a great cause and take part in this year’s Great North Run in aid of the Prince’s Trust (www.princes-trust.org.uk). The Trust supports young people aged 14 -30 who are looking to develop their skills to better their prospects and their lives.
The Bupa Great North Run, the world’s biggest half marathon, takes place on Sunday 20th September with national media coverage. Last year, over 52,000 people took part in the race watched by thousands of spectators and millions of TV viewers.
It’s going to be tough, it’s going to be grueling but they’re up for a challenge and really need your support.
How you can help us
Emily, Jo, Si and Ciara have already started training and it’s going well (no really!) but they need your generosity to help smash the fundraising target of over a £1250. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prince's Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
The Prince’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.
