Story

We've Done It!!!            Don and His Team ....The BHF PEAK PERFORMERS are DELIGHTED to Report a Resounding Success from Britain's Biggest Mountain Challenge 2009

We completed BEN NEVIS in beautiful Summer Sunshine, (although we stood in thick snow on the summit), SCA FELL was completed in the most dangerous of conditions, VERY wet and slippery, with many injuries, including some on our Team, and SNOWDON was completed in utterly treacherous weather conditions ....at dusk.... in weather not fit to turn your mountain goat out in!!  BUT...   We are All Safely Back in Lincolnshire..........Proud, Resting and Thankful

Team Entry - THE BHF PEAK PERFORMERS

Thank You  for taking the time to visit our "JUST GIVING"  Fundraising Page.

We all know somebody who has been affected in some way by Heart Disease.

Our lovely Mum, Marie Boyle died very suddenly of a Heart Attack, a devastating loss to our family, and my brother Don was desperately ill last Summer and underwent major heart surgery.....Hence our own very personal commitment to this challenge.  The "Boyle Family" make up 9 members of our team, with a further 5 close friends joining us.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor our Team. The British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

BBMC 2009 will see our team cover over 11,000 Feet of climbing, over 26 miles of walking and almost 1200 miles driven over one weekend, with little or no sleep.  We need to be fitter than most, and have the mental agility to get ourselves through the challenge. We have trained hard for five months, and are dedicated to our success.

OUR SINCERE THANK YOU'S   We have been exceptionally lucky in gaining sponsorship of our Crew Vehicle, Driver, and Team Wear.   Many Thanks to UNISON - The Public Service Trade Union -  for this amazing gift.

Thank you also to Fran Palenski and Bryan Galley - our Drivers

We sincerely appreciate your support, and will keep you updated regarding our progress through this page.
