Story
Big John's, the Birmingham based independent fast food chain, has assembled a team of determined and dedicated individuals to take part in the Free Radio Walk for Kids 2013. Big John's play an important role in the community, from stores in local neighbourhoods and High Streets, to the numerous sponsorships and donations given to local sports groups, clubs and school projects.
This year the owners, together with their team, have decided to take part in the Free Radio Walk for Kids to raise awareness and much needed funds for charities that help fight and prevent cancer of any type or form. Funds raised will go a long way to ensuring that one day this disease will no longer be the largest contributor to illness and death.
The team includes the owners, management, store staff, home delivery drivers and members of head office staff who all wanted to join and be a part of the great day of fun and enjoyment and, at the same time, raise funds for the charities.
Please help us to help others.
The charity walk will be raising money for the following children's charities:
Helping Harry Help Others (http://www.hhho.org.uk/)
Birmingham Women's Hospital (http://www.bwhct.nhs.uk/)
Cure Leukaemia for Kids (http://www.cureleukaemia.co.uk/)
The team is currently undergoing a strict training regime in preparation for this gruelling task. We aim to raise a minimum of £5000 for these worthy causes. Please take a look at the website links above for more information.
