Despite the blisters, sore knees and terrible chat that summed up our experience last year, we are once again challenging the Great Glen Way to a duel. Yes, its time for the Maggies’s Monster Bike and Hike 2009 and this year we’re trying to beat not only our fundraising record but also our time.

The event is a 30 mile bike ride from Fort William to Fort Augustus followed immediately by a 43 mile walk onwards to Inverness. It's all in aid of Maggie's Cancer Care, a charity supporting all those affected by cancer.

For such a worthy cause, we're hoping to raise at least £500 each and would ask that you give as much as you are able. We understand these are extremely difficult times for all, particularly in financial terms, but we know Maggie's appreciates any and all donations, however small they may seem.
