Hi we are raising funds for Lupus UK & Morriston Hospital ITU in memory of our daughter Linda who sadly passed away March 2012  after many years living with lupus she was just 29 years young.
This site is dedicated to the memory of Linda Fleming.
To raise money for the above we are a group of novice bike riders  where we will start at
Morristons Hospital  Swansea on 01/08/15  
approximately 10 am and  put on a display of Lupus gifts to purchase, some freebies, Lolly Lucky Dip to win prizes, tombola and a Static bike warm up session, Face painting,  to raise much awareness & needed funds, come and visit us meet the team support the Charity & help the Hospital, donate and leave with a prize and the memory of helping someone in need, from there the bike riders and support vehicles will leave the hospital grounds from Car park D SA6 6NL at midnight that evening (Sat 1st Aug 2015) , we will be making our way back to Bradford in West Yorkshire following a similar route as when the coroners staff brought Linda home by their road transport to her resting place. The route will be displayed on this site, Facebook & Twitter. We hope to arrive no later than 36 hours from the start point and arriving at Nandos BD1 5LD approximately 3 pm on the 3rd August 2015

We will be riding our bikes for the full distance of 250 miles and want to complete the distance in under 36 hours, the bike riders, Andrew, Sam & Bill will be stopping at designated NANDOS RESTAURANTS along the way to raise awareness, collect more donations, hand out freebies and you can have a go at winning a lolly prize & tombola.

Each team member has a sponsor form for you to sponsor them with fixed amounts of money or pay per mile as you feel comfortable with.

The Leg It For Lupus Team.

We have many organisations wanting to be involved one of them being an American style Basketball team (details to follow).
One other is a local Artist willing to help with this cause, (details to follow).
Many work colleagues, friends & family from our Lupus team members have pledged to donate to the cause.

Training for this event by our Novice bike riders will start at the beginning of the new year 2015

Training has started by all riders and the rest of the team are gathering momentum in the organising of the event Jan/Feb 2015.

March 2015
The team have all worked hard to get the last few things in place and I can report that all is going well.
Training is well under way steady and progressing is the word  weather not helping much .
Support for the event is growing but funds are a little slow so we need help to get to our target Please.

Training is well under way and were getting a little better at the cycling, lots of the loose ends have now been finalised with just a few small items to complete but overall its all on track and will go ahead as planned

The Lord mayor of Bradford is the dignitary who will get the event off to a good start and will draw the tickets for the raffle draw, calendar and pulse radio along with the T&A paper have been invited to attend
