For those of you who have not come here via a link from an Email, I am raising money for COCO. Nothing to do with clowns apart from the thought of me running. It is a small, hands-on charity funding projects helping children in need and distress, such as HIV infected children in South Africa, Tanzania and Romania and has also helped Sunderland neonatal unit. It seems large enough to make a difference but small enough not to get tangled up in politics or advocacy. I think it is likely to do a lot of good for some of the most vulnerable people on the planet and is worth supporting.
