“Thank you to all who have donated and thank you to those just about to.
I finished in 5hrs 6mins 53secs. Stop me if I talk about doing it again!
”
“Do you want to run the London Marathon?
Who is it for?” I said.
“Willen Hospice” came the reply.
Good cause, I thought. I used to run when I was younger!
“OK” I said.
Well, I bought a book, How to run a Marathon, I bought some trainers, but what I didn’t realise was I would be putting in 3-4 days a week training, completing about 400 miles even before the marathon, including the Silverstone half marathon and the Bedford 20 miler. So 26.2 miles on the day doesn’t seem so bad!
It’s still a good cause, if I can do all that, can you spend a few moments to sponsor me please, we could both lose a few pounds?
