On Sunday April 13th I am taking part in the London Marathon in aid of 'Help the Hospices'.  This charity supports over 240 local hospices who provide the best  possible care to those suffering from a terminal illness.  It provides support to their families and allows everyone at the end of their life to die in comfort and with dignity.

Hospice care is given free of charge and is open to all and so relys on fundraising and donations to allow it to continue it's work.  It is a charity close to my heart as Lindsey Lodge Hospice provided caring support to two members of my family in their final days.

Please help me to raise £1,800.  I have always wanted to run a marathon before I am 40 and as the big day looms later this year, knowing that I have reached my fundraising goal will spur me on across the finishing line (hopefully!)
