Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group of intrepid blokes (and gals) from Yorkshire who are riding from Whitehaven to Sunderland over three days from 30 April to 2 May 2010.

Whilst naturally doing this for the challenge we are also hoping to raise loads of dosh for our three chosen charities, Christ Church New Mill, Help for heroes and  LUPUS UK and have set up Justgiving pages for each one.

This page is specifically for raising money for Christ Church New Mill our local Church which is currently specifically raising funds to enable the fabric of the building to be developed in order to make it an accessible community facility, including adding facilities for the disabled, and providing a much needed focal point for the many groups within the local community.

To keep everyone up to date on our progress, training, etc we have set up a blog and the link to this is shown below, we would love to know your comments

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

However each of the various team members have sponsorship forms if you would prefer to pledge some of your hard earned cash in that way.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks
