Story
The mission
Firstly, we would like to thank you for taking the time and visiting our page!
The task is for us to jump out of a perfectly working plane at 10,000ft and live to tell the tale. We are both members of the Rotary Club of Sale and we are the ones who have picked the short straws to jump for the club.
Why we are jumping?
We are raising money for the Rotary Club of Sale in memory of Bob Willan, who was an integral part of the club and whose father was a Founder Member of the club. We thank his son Peter for his continued and much valued support.
What does Rotary do?
Rotary International is divided into many local clubs.
Each club supports local, national and international causes. Locally, the club allows those less privileged to take advantage of opportunities they would otherwise not have had. Nationally and Internationally the club supports humanitarian, intercultural and educational programs in order to advance its ultimate goals of promoting understanding and world peace.
We try and help in any way possible whether it is by replacing the bingo machine for the local retirement home, providing disaster relief or by funding prostheses for people in developing countries who have lost limbs.

How you can help
If you sponsor us, Rotary will receive much more that just the amount you give. Firstly, as a registered charity, we are able to reclaim the income tax you pay, under the "Gift Aid" scheme. Please remember to tick the box to confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and therefore eligible.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us. The Rotary Club Of Sale Benevolent Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
Thanks again
