I will be running (hopefully all of) the London Marathon on 23rd April 2006.  I am asking you to sponsor me in support of Voice.

I hope you get a moment to check out the Voice website, but in brief Voices children and young adults in care.  How?  Well as a recent example, Voice aided by a barrister, (donated his time), successfully applied through the Royal Courts of Justice to overturn a decision by a local council to remove three brothers and sisters from the care of their long term foster parents.   These three children had already been parted from two other brothers and sisters through this order and desperately wanted to stay with their foster parents.  In another case Voice helped overturn the decision of a court that prevented a brother and sister who were in care with separate foster parents from meeting more than once a year.   I can not imagine being prevented from meeting up with the one person left in my family in this way.  I work with Voice as a trustee on its board.
