My story

Steve Raby & Neil Harrison (team "Bone Idol") are competing in the 24hr Bike Race - Sleepless In the Saddle(SITS) on August 12th, Catton Hall near Tamworth to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital. This bike race features entries from the armed forces, professional cycle teams  and enthusiastic amateurs who inevitably suffer horribly. Needless to say, neither Neil or Steve are professional cyclists or have military tendencies!

Both of Steve's children have had experience of the excellent care that Sheffield Children's Hospital provides and this year the charity is concentrating on raising money for Clinical research, Gastro Scopes and Patient Entertainment Systems. Any contribution would be gratefully received !

Neil has no children that he knows of, though he was one himself once (a long time ago) and sometimes thinks he still is one.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Steve & Neil
