We are asking for your support for a major challenge we are undertaking to raise funds to improve the health of women and babies worldwide.

The funds will help improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of devastating conditions which cause genetic diseases such as cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy, miscarriage, infertility, cancer and brain damage.

In October 2010 we will join Professor Robert Winston for Cycle China, the 10th women only challenge to fund groundbreaking medical research.

We will be cycling 450km over 5 days with a group of 80 women through China's Beijing region, along rivers, past tiny villages and through steep gorges. It is going to be extremely tough and we will have to put in a lot of training but we know it will be worth it.

We would all like to say a big THANK YOU for your support as we have exceeded our target and have so far raised a whopping £14795.22!

Training is going well, we are cycling around 40-50 miles each time we go out as we only have 4 weeks to go until China. We will keep you updated on the final sponsorship total and of course how the challenge went.
