Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Between August 25th and 2nd September 2010 I will be cycling around 910 miles between Land's End and John O'Groats in aid of Cancer Research UK. It’s longer than the standard route as I have adjusted it to enable me to stay overnight with kind family / kit washers !
Along the route I will be joined intermittently by hardy friends who I would like to thank in advance, and will be otherwise kept company by an ipod and a blackberry ! (please keep the work calls to a minimum, unless it’s new work thanks !!!)
Those joining me include:
Ian Woolley
Graeme Swain
Bob Fitzsimmons
James Dow
Carl Bailey
Peter Milner, Stuart and Chris
(and anyone else who would like to join me?)
25th August, The Great Journey has begun... in the rain!
Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. It's groundbreaking work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has saved millions of lives. Survival rates have doubled in the last thirty years and Cancer Research UK have been at the heart of that progress. But one in three of us will still get cancer at some point and it's vital work, funded entirely by the public, will help ensure that millions more people will beat this disease.
