We fund dementia research to help defeat dementia.

Story

The mid-life crisis continues!  This April (gulp) I am attempting the double.

Paris Marathon April 11th 2010

Finished in a fairly pleasing 3 hrs 59 mins and 12 secs.  Weather was warm, never good for my thinning hair, but having attended a number of runs, my parents finally spotted me in the crowd!

Now gearing up for London.  Please feed me carbs.

London Marathon April 25th 2010

4 hrs 6 mins and 29 secs.  It was warm.  That's my excuse.  And I'd eaten too many carbs.

The point of both is to raise money for BRACE (Bristol Research into Alzheimer's and Care of the Elderly).

I have neighbours, colleagues, friends and family who have all been affected by dementia either as sufferer or carer, so want to help BRACE continue their research.

You too can join TeamMidlifeCrisis by sponsoring me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity
