My story

Midsummer Golf Madness

In a moment of madness I agreed to take part in a '24 hour midsummer golf madness event' to raise money for the NSPCC from midday on the 18th of June until midday on the 19th of June at Burgham Park Golf Club. As some of you may know, I am what could be described at best as an 'enthusiastic' golfer!

By taking part in the competition, I am committed to personally raising a minimum of £2,500.  I have set myself a challenge to double this to help achieve the £50,000 overall target.

For those of you who have children, you will know they really are what make life worthwhile and we all need to do what we can to help those children who are not as fortunate as our own.

Please be generous and give what you can.

May I suggest a graphite shaft to go with your fluorescent balls. P.S. great idea to play at night, that way you won't kill any more red squirrels. Donation by Steve Overs 26/06/08
