Story
Hi everyone,
On February 14th I will be running in the Austin Marathon dressed as braveheart to raise money for Act4Africa. This is a project whereby I travel to Uganda to educate youngsters there about HIV and Aids, what it is, the effects it has, how to avoid it and how to live with it. I believe this is an invaluable task, and one that can truly effect the lives of the people who we meet.
Act4Africa is an organisation who organises it, feel free to check out their website. All donations will be going directly to the organisation to further their aims, I believe I should pay for the flights and incidental costs, hence why my target amount is simply the cost the organisation proscribes for the project, not the flights.
I would very much appreciate your support, whether large or small.
Here is some info as given by Justgiving:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
God Bless
