Story

A huge thank you to everyone who has visited the page and supported me.

My time was 3hr 57min and I made it and have the medal to prove it.

With your help we have raised over £3,210 and Citi will add a further £500 once all the cash is collected.

There are still some donations coming in so I hope the grand total will creep towards the £4,000 mark. If you also add back all the cash that will be reclaimed via gift aid (for those who have to pay their taxes) then where talking close to £5,000.

Having personally visited the Hospice seen the facilities and talked to the staff and volunteers, I know this money is going to a truly worthy cause and will help to improve the life's of the children and parents who rely on the essential care Little Havens provides.

Thanks once again to the people who came down to cheer on the day, you are the people who make the amazing atmosphere and really make the difference to those running.

Brett

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  I am very privileged that The Rotary Club of Canary Wharf have selected me as one of their nominated runners for this year’s London Marathon.

The charity which I am striving to raise funds for is the Little Havens Children’s Hospice. Little Havens requires £1.6 million each year to provide its services, the majority of which is raised from charitable gifts and donations.

Their philosophy is “that all children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses cared for by Little Havens will be enabled to 'live life to the full'.” For more details please visit http://www.littlehavens.org.uk/

The charity provides crucial care and support services to both the child and the family. The focus is on adding life to days when days cannot be added to life.

Please dig as deep as you can and sponsor me online, as little as £1 a mile will make huge inroads into my target off £3000, (NB the marathon is 26 miles J ).

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure, Little Havens Children's Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

For those who can make it along April 13th, Little Havens and I will greatly appreciate your support on the day.

Many thanks for your support

Brett
