Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Everyone who knows me will be aware that i have recently givin up smoking, cut out on the late night partying and givin my all to training hard, on top of this i recently underwent a major operation on my back, so come on - feel sorry for me and donate to a cause that unfortunately touches us or someone close to us at some point in our lives.
Update (5/11/08)
Dear all - i done it, what can i say other than i experienced every possible emotion and possibly a few new ones over and above. A tough marathon is an understatement, it is a nightmare. Thoroughly enjoyable and constantly inspired by the mass crowd and atmosphere, i suffered an inflamed ankle at the 16 mile mark however i do not believe that this would have made an impact on my time, the second part of the race as you can see below took its toll, never the less i made the New York Times (runners under 5 hours)
Once again thanks a million for all your support, i could not have done it withourt you all behind me, and i mean that.
Finish time: 4:47:28
10K split: 0:59:58
Half-marathon split: 2:08:40
Brian.
Please keep donating if you can, the more we raise for Marie Curie the more chance we have of making a difference for someone.
