Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm running the London Marathon this year in aid of three very worthwhile charities. They are Breast Cancer Care, which is QVc's adopted charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust who did much to help the son of one of my work colleagues, and the Childrens Trust, who help severely brain damaged children with complex health needs. It's the first time I've ever run anything like this distance( I've just checked the distance on my car and realised that I get tired even driving this far!) so I'm going to need all the help I can get. Realising that by completing the course I will help to raise funds for these organisations in even the smallest way will be the biggest possible incentive for me to continue training on all those cold and dark winter nights and even more importantly to complete the course on the day when every inch of my body and brain cell is screaming at me to stop!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the charities will receive your money faster and even more importantly, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. That means that every pound you pledge will be automatically be increased by 28p at NO extra cost to you but enormous personal cost to the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Isn't it worth sponsoring me just to think you have had that effect?
To donate direct to Breast Cancer Care, please use this page. For the Childrens Trust please go to www.justgiving.com/brianfarrelly1 or to the Teenage Cancer Trust to www.justgiving.com/brianfarrelly2
So please sponsor me now for as much as you can
Many thanks for your support.
