In May 2009 a team from the British Safety Council successfully completed the National Three Peaks Challenge - climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours.  9,723 feet of ascent (and descent), 22 miles of walking and 470 miles of driving . . . .

We reached our fundraising target of £3,000 for Help for Heroes which provides support for our brave servicemen and women wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
