Story
Welcome to British Sheep Hour
Who can be content doing Trailwalker when there's hard country up north to tackle. We'll have none of these soft southern downy ways - it's time for Malham Cove, Fountain Fell and Pen-y-Gent, up hill and down dale, a nice bit of wensleydale and a pint at the woolpack where everything is local and you'll never leave.
So Neil Yates (aged 95 and 2-times trailwalker veteran) leads a band of intrepid and grumpy men in search of spiritual uplands, a Rough Fell, a Swaledale, a Masham and a Badger Faced Welsh.
Neil, Mark Gunther (aged 73), Billy Garnett (aged 81)and Neil Young (aged 104) are aiming to walk the 100km non-stop within 25 hours. So please sponsor our sheep stupidity - all your support goes to support Oxfam's valuable work across the globe. We'll be waving flags as we cross the line in recognition of the excellent music of British Sea Power.
