Bry, Debra and Rob aka team Lady Grey, Fruit Infusion and the Tea Boy are doing the challenge to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance .
On May 2nd 2007 Gari McLean (Debra's son) was taking part in a military parachuting exercise at Netheravon Camp Wiltshire when at 300ft there was a malfunction in his parachute.
Gari hit the ground at approx 45mph breaking both his legs, left arm, one finger, lower jaw, both cheekbones, both eye sockets and fractured his skull. Close to losing his life the Wiltshire Air Ambulance flew him to Salisbury hospital. Following 14 months of rehabilitation at SDH and at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Headley Court he was able to make a recovery.
We would like to raise as much money as feasibly possible, as being a charity the Air Ambulance runs purely on donation and no one will ever know when they will need it.
Needless to say all money raised will make a difference and save a life especially as the Ambulances existence is under threat.
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
