In 2008 Alex and I cycled the Coast to Coast in 3 days. In 2009 I did it with another group in 2 days.  This year the plan is to complete the 142 mile route in just one day! 

So Alex and I will be setting out from Whitehaven early in the morning on Saturday 19th June and cycling for approximately 12 hours, climbing 12,500 feet and burning in the region of 9000 calories.

I'm raising money for Vision Aid Overseas a charity commited to helping some of the poorest people in the world gain better sight.
