We’ve got a team together to do a charity bike ride from Coast to Coast following the Sustrans route from Workington to Sunderland, 136 miles on May bank holiday.
We’ll be raising money for the Katy Holmes Trust. Katy sadly died from a brain tumour aged just 10 years old and May this year would have been her 18th birthday. Riding on her birthday gives us an added incentive to complete the ride in just 18 hours. A tough challenge for anyone.
Brain Tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children in the uk, and yet one of the least well funded. According to leading cancer research doctors, developing a cure for childhood brain cancer would likely lead to finding cures for dozens of related child and adult cancers. If we can help find a cure for this devastating cancer, then the pain and the cramp will all have been worth it.
Please help us raise our target of £500 for the Katy Holmes Trust by donating via our group Just giving page.
We can beat it together 🙌, and with the special backing that the KHT has secured every £10 donation is worth £28.50 of research.
Thank you so much for your support 🚵♂️👍
