Every young person in Scotland has the right to lead a happier, healthier and more fulfilled life. At Venture Scotland, we believe that this can be achieved for young people through participation in their unique personal development programmes lasting up to 12 months. Young people will improve their self-awareness, social awareness and confidence by doing weekly outdoor-based activities, life-skill sessions, 1-to1 support sessions and remote bothy residentials in a group environment.

I wanted to fundraise for Venture Scotland because I completed one of the programmes and it has really changed me so much in a positive way from how I look at myself and my past, to being loved and accepted for who i was, showing me how much the outdoors can help me mentally and so much more. And I want more young people like me to experience the amazing work Venture Scotland does and have the opportunity to change their lives too because it really is a life changing experience. I really want to give back after all the help they gave me and the incredible things they continue to do for young people.
