Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Ed Durkin, Hugo King-Oakley, Justin Owers, Will Sanderson, Tom Jenvey and Jamie Bodnar-Horvath, all aged 16-17 from Canford School, are cycling a distance of around 800 miles from Calais (North of France) to Perpignan (Close to the border of Spain). We aim to complete this in around 2 weeks. We are cycling this distance in mid July when temperatures in France will be at their highest making it all the more challenging for us.
We chose to do this bike ride in aid of Leukaemia Busters in memory of my cousin, Joshua Sanderson, who died of leukaemia around 10 years ago. I would like to make a point of thanking Ed, Justin, Tom, Jamie and Hugo for doing this with me despite not knowing Josh.
Just to give you a few facts about leukaemia: On average 59000 people a year die from leukaemia; leukaemia is Britains most common childhood cancer and children aged 1-4 are at the highest risk of developing leukaemia.
Trying to keep it short...............
Your support is needed and would be greatly appreciated so please donate as much as you can in aid of helping people with Leukaemia.
Thank You
