To mark our 70th birthday this year we want to raise £7,000 through our Birthday Appeal.

That's money which will help us be there for every person with a genetic bleeding disorder, to support them in leading a fulfilled life, making informed choices and inspiring others.

Like many other charities, the coronavirus has hit us hard. Our big events have had to be cancelled, fundraising options have been limited and spare cash for donations has been difficult to find.

Today, The Society needs your help more than ever. We rely on the support of our community to help us run our free services by raising vital funds. We know times are tough and were sorry to ask, but we really need your support again to hit our Birthday Appeal target.

You or a family member may have attended some of our free events, such as youth camp, our extremely popular Newly Diagnosed Weekends or Talking Red conferences. You may have used one of our many informative booklets to help both yourself and others understand what having a bleeding disorder means. If so, youll know what a positive impact our services have on peoples lives.

As bleeding disorders are rare, many people will never encounter The Haemophilia Society. This means we have to work doubly hard to raise both awareness and understanding of bleeding disorders as well as the funds needed to give those affected the services they need and deserve.

We are confident that, with your help, we can reach our £7,000 target to honour our 70th birthday.
