Al-hamdulilah, last Ramadan we raised funds to distribute 1000 Islamic Books across needy madrasas in Ethiopia and we shared regular updates showing how your donations helped change lives from that completed project!

In the below hadith Prophet Muhammad (s) mentioned the virtue of providing clean water:
Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.” Source: Sunan al-Nasai 3664
The Borehole Wells that will be repaired are not those built by SRF but are those that have either no water coming at all or have dirty water and are in need of repair work to get clean water again in sha Allah.
The key aim of this project is to transform the lives of the needy people in the various villages by providing them a source of life - clean water.
