L41 and L42 are Children's Surgery wards at Leeds Children's Hospital. There are 33 beds across both wards.

We are fundraising to improve the environment for patients and the shared facilities provided to their parents and families. The goal is to improve patient and family experience and support them through long and traumatic stays. The kitchen refurbishment will also help promote healthy eating and mental wellbeing.

The wall art specifically helps to make the space more welcoming and comfortable. Art decorations also play an important role in providing distraction for patients when they’re having an uncomfortable procedure.

With your help we aim to transform Wards L42/41 into a warm, welcoming and child friendly environment that reflects the outstanding care that our team provides.
