Why support Treetops Hospice?
Treetops is a leading end-of-life care charity supporting people across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We provide nursing care and emotional support to adults with life limiting illness, as well as bereavement support for adults and children.
Our services are completely free of charge, from diagnosis onwards. We offer:
• End of life nursing care in patients’ own homes
• Counselling for grieving children and adults
• Personalised wellbeing support
• Confidential advice for patients and their families
Fundraising or donating £108 could fund a night of Hospice at Home care, allowing someone to remain in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by loved ones, with expert support when they need it most.
How your fundraising can help:
• £10 could provide a bereavement pack for a child
• £34.50 could fund a one-to-one counselling session for a child
• £67 could support a visit from our Roaming Nurses
• £75.50 could fund two group sessions of non-talking therapy for a child
• £108 could provide a full night of Hospice at Home nursing care

We hope that, together, we can raise a substantial amount to help Treetops maintain the tranquil and welcoming facility at Risley to enable them to carry on giving the tools for families to adjust their life in times of need. We encourage as many runners as possible to get involved, even if it’s through a small donation at entry. Furthermore, we hope that more people get to understand the incredible work Treetops do—and know where to turn should they ever need such support themselves. Richard Kay - Race Director
