I recently made the (some might say slightly crazy) decision to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, in August 2010. If you know me well then you will probably agree that this type of challenge is quite out of character for me and I'd have to say I agree. Anyway, I WILL be leaving on August 20th heading to Tanzania.

The charity I have chosen to support is Make a WIsh Foundation. This charity grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. The charity needs to raise £5 million pounds in 2009 alone to be able to grant these wishes. No wish is ever too big and they really do make children's dreams come true!

 WHAT DIFFERENCE WILL YOUR DONATION MAKE?

£10 will buy lunch for a child who wishes for a special visit to London

£20 pays for a sparkly tiara to help fulfill a little girl's wish to be a princess for the day

£50 buys the special uniform for a boy who wishes to be a soldier, policeman or fireman for the day

£100 provides a Eurostar ticket to help make a special wish trip to Paris happen

£150 pays for a mini tuxedo for a boy to be James Bond

£200 will fund a magical therapeutic swim in the sea with dolphins for a child who wishes to go to Florida

£350 buys a VIP hospitality ticket for a child who wishes for a fantastic trip to Old Trafford to see Manchester United play

£1000 will buy accommodation at Disneyland Resort Paris for a wish child's whole family

I have paid for the trek myself so 100% of the sponsorship that you donate will go straight to Make a Wish Foundation.

Please give whatever you can and I promise I'll do all I can to make sure I make it up there! Even the smallest amount of money will make a difference!
