We are one of the two Rainbow Trust care teams covering the North West region that are currently caring for around 200 families.  We support families emotionally and practically when they have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.  Our job is a lot of fun at times and we help to create good memories, but it is a really stressful time for the families and so from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond bereavement we are there to support the whole family.

Most of the money that is raised to pay for our vital service is through voluntary donations, and a lot of that is everyday people doing extraordinary things and getting sponsored for it.  We are very grateful of everyone's efforts and so we thought we would put our best feet forward (sorry!) and do the same by bravely taking part in our upcoming firewalk at Guy's.  Well, some of us were talked into it to be honest...
