Between the 21st Feb and 26th Feb 2009 my cyclying challenge of 470km in 5 consecutive days will take me through two of South East Asia's most fascinating countries which have only opened up to foreign travellers in recent years. Starting in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and finishing in Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
The Alzheimer's Society are leading the fight against dementia. My wonderful Gran, Margorie Wilcox, passed away only a few weeks ago after her long battle with this terrible disease. With the recent press and the stigma associated with this illness I wanted to challenge myself in her memory. I have secured a healthy % of the money raised will come to the West Berkshire Alzheimer's Society.
