I care passionately about children. I am a mother of three children as well as a doctor with a particular interest in helping couples with fertility problems become parents. Sometimes, sadly, the joy of parenting is suddenly cut short if a child is diagnosed with a life threatening illness and has to suffer painful treatment and uncertainty about their future. Young lives should be full of joy and hope, not illness, and I believe this charity gives children a tomorrow to live for and courage to get through each day by helping them fulfil a much longed for dream. I have been training jolly hard for the last 6 months to run the marathon in New York (as you can see from the picture where I am trying to look like Paula Radcliffe) and I am determined to finish, however long it takes me!
